City Charter Budget Adoption Provisions: The City Charter requires that the budget be
adopted no later than the second regular meeting in June (Sec. 8.5), and that a public hearing
be held on the adoption of the budget with notice given at least one week prior to the date of
the hearing (Sec. 8.4).
