Act 51, of the Public Acts of 1951, as amended, provides for the establishment
of separate funds to account for monies returned by the State to local units of
government for operation, maintenance and improvement of major and local
street system.
The City of Plymouth Local Street system contains 23.32 miles of streets. The
City receives local street funds from the State based on the number of miles of
local streets and the size of the City's population.
