The DDA Operating Fund captures taxes from all tax levies other than school
related tax levies, the Detroit Zoo levy, and the Detroit Institute of Arts levy to
fund operations as defined in the DDA plan adopted by both the DDA Board
and the City Commission.
In addition, the DDA Operating Fund also utilizes a capital improvement fund
(Fund #494) to account for major capital improvements authorized consistent
with plan purposes.
