CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
Description of responsibilities and services:
The City Manager, who is the chief administrative officer (CAO) of the City, directs day-today operations and is the administrative advisor to the Commission. While the City
Commission sets public priority and policy, the City Manager and staff complete the
projects related to the Commission’s priorities.
The City Manager and department heads work to fulfill the strategic plan, which was
developed with the input of both the Commission and the staff. Every year, the group
meets to set one-year tasks related to the plan.
